Harry Styles is returning to Chicago with an extra date on his Together, Together tour, adding a fifth concert at Soldier Field on 5 June 2027. The Harry Styles Chicago extra date, announced on 5 November 2026, extends a tour that has already become one of the biggest live events of the year — and it comes as the singer’s latest single continues to climb.
Styles is touring in support of his fourth solo album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally., which arrived on 6 March 2026 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The Together, Together tour began in Amsterdam in May 2026, three years after his last tour, and is scheduled to run until August 2027, closing at London’s Wembley Stadium on 28 August 2027.
“Coming Up Roses” Becomes the Fourth Single
The Chicago announcement lands in the middle of the album’s patient singles rollout. “Coming Up Roses”, the eighth track on the ten-song album, was released as the album’s fourth single on Friday, 30 October 2026, through Erskine and Columbia Records — almost eight months after the album first arrived. Its official music video premiered a few days earlier, on Monday, 26 October, directed by Bradley & Pablo, the duo behind his “Watermelon Sugar” and “Late Night Talking” visuals.
The video, a 4-minute-16-second clip set in a ballroom dance class, passed 1.7 million views within roughly 13 hours of going up on his official channel.
A Ballad That Began as a Christmas Song
“Coming Up Roses” is a piano-and-orchestra ballad on a record whose title promises dancing. Produced by Kid Harpoon and arranged by Jules Buckley, it pairs solo piano with a 39-piece orchestra. He told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 that he began writing it in December 2025 as a Christmas song, gave up on that idea after two lines, and finished it as a love song about a relationship that can be special without lasting forever.
The track has peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 14 on the Billboard Global 200, with more than 170 million Spotify streams, according to reports of its chart run. A limited-edition seven-inch vinyl release, featuring a live version recorded with the Jules Buckley Orchestra, is scheduled for 4 December.
The Residency That Defined the Year
The single’s release also closed the book on Styles’ historic Madison Square Garden residency: 30 shows running from 26 August to 31 October, the largest single-artist residency in the venue’s history. He announced the “Coming Up Roses” video during his 24 October show at the Garden, and wrapped the residency with two Halloween-themed Harryween concerts on 30 and 31 October.
With the residency behind him and a fifth Chicago date now on sale, Styles’ 2026 comeback shows no sign of slowing down. The tour continues into 2027 — and Chicago, it seems, cannot get enough of him.
