Seahawks Troll Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce After Chiefs’ First Loss

The Seattle Seahawks celebrated their win over the Kansas City Chiefs with a pointed joke at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s expense — and fans are divided over whether it was playful rivalry or a step too far. Seattle defeated Kansas City 20-3 on Sunday, October 25, handing the Chiefs their first loss of the NFL season, according to reports published October 28, 2026.

Following the game, the Seahawks shared an image of friendship bracelets spelling out “Seahawks Win,” accompanied by the caption “End Game.” The post referenced Swift’s 2017 song from her Reputation album and the friendship bracelet tradition popularised during her Eras Tour — a tradition Swifties turned into a cultural phenomenon.

Vigilante mascot

The team did not stop there. The Seahawks also shared a photograph of team mascot Blitz wearing a sparkling outfit, alongside a reference to Swift’s song “Vigilante Shit.” The combination — bracelets, sparkle, song titles — left no doubt about the target, even though Swift herself did not attend the game.

The posts sparked mixed reactions online. Some fans enjoyed the playful rivalry, praising Seattle’s social media team for leaning into pop culture. Others criticised the team for involving Swift, who was not at the game and had no role in the result, arguing that dragging a player’s wife into a post-game troll was unnecessary.

Kelce’s day on the field

Despite the defeat, Kelce recorded four receptions for 44 yards and reached significant career milestones, according to the reports. The victory improved Seattle’s record to 4-3, while Kansas City dropped to 5-1 — still a strong start, but no longer perfect.

Swift and Kelce, who married in July according to the dating reports cited elsewhere in this batch, have become one of sport’s most visible couples, and their names now feature regularly in game coverage whether Swift attends or not. That visibility cuts both ways: it brings new fans to the NFL, and it makes the couple a ready-made punchline for rival teams.

Seattle’s social team clearly decided the joke was worth it. Whether Swifties agree is another matter — and the debate, raging across social media on October 28, suggests this particular “End Game” is far from over.
