Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has been cleared to return to competitive football after his anti-doping case was officially resolved, making him immediately available for both Chelsea and the Ukraine national team. The agreement was reached between the Football Association (FA), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), and the player, ending a lengthy period on the sidelines.

Mudryk Free to Play Immediately

Mudryk’s case stemmed from a positive test for a low concentration of meldonium, a substance prohibited under anti-doping rules at the time of testing. He had initially faced a four-year suspension, but the matter was resolved through an appeal process.

Under the settlement, Mudryk accepted anti-doping rule violations, while the sanction was reduced to the period he had already served.
