Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has given his father a second house, sharing a video on Instagram on Wednesday, 5 November 2026, showing himself, his father and friends standing in front of the property. “I celebrate you Pops! Congrats on your second house. ALHAMDULLILAH,” he wrote, according to Eelive.
A second gift, three years on
This is the second house Seyi Vibez has given his father, who he affectionately calls Baba Loseyi. He previously built his father a house in Lagos in June 2023, soon after he became popular. Seyi Vibez, whose real name is Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi, rose to fame in 2023 after releasing his hit single “Chance (Na Ham),” according to Eelive. The new property’s location and price were not disclosed, and the singer did not share interior photos.
A story fans know well
The gift carries extra weight for fans who know Seyi Vibez’s family story. His mother, whom he called his soul, died in March 2023 — the same month his success was taking off — after he had secretly bought her a house she never got to see. He has spoken about grieving while his career grew, and about building his own label, Vibez Inc., to give others the opportunity he never had. The second house for his father is, in that light, a celebration as much as a gift.
A quiet milestone, shared loudly
Seyi Vibez maintains a remarkably private personal life, so the Instagram video — father, son and friends in front of the new house — was a rare public family moment. Fans flooded the comments with congratulations, and the story spread across Nigerian entertainment sites within hours.
