Following months of harassment, the stalker tracked down her family’s home in Naples, Florida, and fired a shotgun through the front door before attempting to break inside. Investigators later discovered thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of videos of Ava stored on his electronic devices, highlighting the extent of his fixation.
Ava’s father, retired law enforcement officer Rob Majury, confronted the armed intruder after he returned to the property. Authorities said the suspect refused repeated commands to drop his weapon, prompting Rob Majury to fatally shoot him in self-defense. Following an investigation, officials ruled the shooting legally justified, and no charges were filed.
