Kylie Jenner is reportedly ready to get engaged — but Timothee Chalamet is not there yet. The Kylie Jenner Timothee Chalamet marriage reports, which flared again this week, paint a picture of a couple at different speeds: she wants a ring, he wants more time, and her sister Kendall’s fast-moving romance is said to be adding pressure.

According to a report from Page Six, first published in late October and still driving coverage on 4–6 November, Kylie has made her feelings clear. “Kylie is ready to get engaged and has made it pretty clear to Timothee that she sees marriage in their future,” a source told the outlet. “She’s not giving him ultimatums or demanding a ring, but she’s definitely making her feelings known and hoping he’ll get there sooner rather than later.”
The Sibling Rivalry Twist
The same reporting says that Kendall Jenner‘s speedy romance with Jacob Elordi has Kylie feeling the pressure. Some outlets have gone further, claiming Kylie has given Chalamet a deadline to propose by the end of the year, driven by a wish to be first. But the Page Six source was explicit on this point: Kylie is not issuing an ultimatum. The two versions of the story conflict, and neither has been confirmed by representatives for either star.
“Timothee loves Kylie and is very much invested in their relationship, but he’s simply not there yet,” the insider said. “There’s a feeling that if he were to propose anytime soon, it would be more because of the pressure he’s feeling rather than because he’s genuinely ready.”
Still Going Strong
For all the speculation, the couple were spotted together on a date night at Sushi Park, the Los Angeles celebrity hotspot, this week — walking out together and looking, by all accounts, very much still a couple. They went public with their relationship in September 2023 after being spotted kissing at a Beyonce concert, and were first linked romantically in April 2023.
Chalamet has previously said he can imagine marriage for himself. During a promotional event in London for Marty Supreme in February 2026, he was asked whether he would get married. “Yes. Yes,” he answered. The question now is not whether, but when — and whether the pressure to decide will bring the couple closer together or push them apart.
