Toyota has confirmed it will launch the facelifted Innova Hycross in India on November 25, 2026, giving its premium people-mover a more upmarket look and a fresh round of features.
The updated MPV was recently given a small refresh in Indonesia, where it is sold as the Kijang Innova Zenix, and Toyota has now confirmed the Indian launch date. The facelift is expected to be more premium than the current model, with revised styling, new interior trim and updated equipment.
The Innova Hycross is one of Toyota’s most important models in India, where large family MPVs are a mainstay of the market. The current model is priced between ₹18.70 lakh and ₹32.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and the facelift is expected to start at around ₹20 lakh, with top variants reaching ₹35 lakh.
What to expect
Toyota has not yet released full details of the changes, but the Indonesian car points the way: a revised front end, new alloy wheel designs, updated upholstery and the latest version of Toyota’s infotainment and safety systems. The hybrid powertrain, which has been the Hycross’s key selling point since its launch, is expected to carry over unchanged.
The Innova name has been a fixture of the Indian market for two decades, and the Hycross — with its SUV-inspired styling and hybrid efficiency — has kept it relevant as buyers move away from traditional diesel MPVs. The facelift is designed to keep the model fresh against a growing field of rivals, including the Kia Carnival and the new generation of premium three-row SUVs.
A busy November for car buyers
The Innova announcement caps a busy month for the Indian car market, with the Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric launching on November 4 and several other electric models — including the Denza D9 and Z9 GT on November 13, the Mahindra Thar E around November 15 and the VinFast VF3 on November 25 — scheduled before the month is out.
For Toyota, the November 25 date puts the Innova facelift in showrooms just as the festive buying season peaks. Full prices and variant details are expected closer to the launch.
